Most people are bewildered when they view our large range of Radio Control Cars. We carry the range simply because we have a passion for all kinds of cars. The latest developments in car products are closely monitored to bring you the best. As an example, Hobby Place introduced Tomy Bit Char-G cars to Melbourne in 2001, just after their release in Japan.

Since the earliest Tamiya cars such as the Rough Rider to the latest TB Evolution III, we have experienced them all. We have been servicing Tamiya cars since 1979 and still stock some parts of this vintage.

Racing is an important part of life for our staff. Team Hobby Place Drivers have been State Champions for 2001, 2002 and 2003. Just as in full-scale racing, radio control racing provides us with knowledge and advice that can be passed to our customers. There is no other flying model that impresses as much as a Helicopter. It may be the manoeuvrability achievable in a small area. It may be the floating nature of its flight. No matter what the reason, Helicopters are seen as the pinnacle of flying machines.
Electric power has progressed in technology such that helicopters measuring 30 cm now exist. Flying a model in the lounge or dining room is perfectly feasible. These small helicopters are the perfect distraction for use in city apartment living.

Fuel powered models provide power and larger size to those preferring open space flying. Big or small, we can offer you the choice.

BOATS - Speed boats, Sailing yachts, Fishing vessels, Tug boats.

Do you have a need for an energetic drive of an insanely fast speedboat, or a relaxing cruise of an elegant yacht or Tug? Either way we can satisfy your requirement.

We have speedboats ranging from 50cmto 100cm long and are available powered by electricity or fuel. Yachts are available from 60cm to 100cm long, and 80cm to 200cm high. They look beautiful in the water and as display models in the home. Tugs and Fishing vessels range from 80cm to 100cm long. These boats may be fitted with electric motors or fuel engines.
