Hobby Place can ship orders within Australia, or worldwide.


Shipping Methods

All domestic orders (within Australia) are shipped by Registered Mail. This means you can expect delivery in 2-3 business days. Orders are insured. Quoted prices for shipping include postage, packaging and insurance.

All international orders are shipped via EMS. This means you can expect fast delivery by air. Orders are insured and a tracking number is provided. Quoted prices for shipping include postage, packaging and insurance.


Payment Methods

Payment must be received before orders can be shipped.

We accept the following payment types:

• cheques (made payable for the total order amount, in Australian dollars).
• postal money orders (from within Australia only)
• international money orders (in AuD, as per cheques)
• direct deposit / wire transfer to our nominated account (details upon application)
• PayPal (subject to a 5% surcharge – more details below)

We explicitly CANNOT accept Credit Cards for overseas orders. For orders within Australia, please call or email for more details.

Paying with PayPal

Because we can now accept PayPal payments, you can use a credit card or local bank account to pay for your order. You can find more information about this method at www.paypal.com . Signing up for PayPal is free.

If you choose to pay with PayPal , you will be sent an invoice via email, from which you can make a secure payment via the PayPal website. The electronic invoice will detail the total cost of your order, in Australian dollars.

To cover transaction charges, all PayPal payments will attract a 5% surcharge on top of the total order cost (including shipping).
